This year’s Veterama took place in Mannheim from October 9th to 12th. As usual, there was no shortage of exhibitors, with people arriving from all over Europe, from west to east. There were motorcycles, cars, parts, accessories, literature, antiques, and basically everything related to the broad concept of “retro.” The weather was perfect; from the morning – although chilly – there was not a single cloud in the sky, promising a wonderful day for wandering the aisles. This was our second edition of this bazaar, so we refreshed our acquaintances and met new suppliers. We spent Veterama searching for parts, contacts, and literature for several projects, including a 1941 NSU 251 OS WH, a 1967 Honda Monkey Z50M, and a 1979 Honda CBX1000. Parts for each of these motorcycles are incredibly hard to come by, but our persistence knows no bounds, and even a 2,400-kilometer trip is no challenge for us. Our priority is to complete the renovations we’ve started and to complete them to the highest possible standard. Sometimes this requires sacrificing a weekend, sometimes several, sometimes even after hours, but the look on the customer’s face when they receive their dream motorcycle is always an unforgettable experience, and it’s what drives us to continue working. Furthermore, we’re saving the automotive industry without EGRs, environmentally friendly features, or other electrifications, a trend that’s becoming increasingly rare on our streets every day.
